Trapped on a highway, supplies to have in your vehicle

Thousands trapped on I-95 in Virginia after heavy snow deadlocked the highway for over 20 hours. These things do in fact happen. Winter storms and other natural disasters can shut down highways anywhere in the country. I wanted to put together a list of items you should have in your vehicle at all times in the event this happens to you. Here's what I have, leave your ideas and suggestions below.

Warm clothing including gloves, hats, boots and wool socks.
Wool, or other blankets used for warmth or insulating your vehicle.
Food, such as energy bars and other snacks including water.
Battery bank to keep electronics (phones, tablets, flashlights) charged.
Safety vest, road markers or road flares for safety when existing vehicle.
GO bag with supplies to leave your vehicle and head for rescue.

Shovel, tire chains, tow straps, upgraded jack.
